i. The problem
We grew up in places where art was or still is even today quite inexistent. Creating and performing is regarded as something for children, foreigners and society losers (Imburamukoro). Arts are neither considered lucrative nor important to the growth of society. Therefore, the society misses the opportunity to use this very important element of the culture for individual as well as society development.
ii. The Solution
We now know and understand art can express and shape who WE ARE, who WE WANT TO BE.
We initiate art to children from an early age, so that art can be introduced, learnt, produced and distributed. We also use arts as a channel for social change.
